Completed episodes are paired with start or resumption of care and end of care OASIS assessments. Episodes must have an end-of-care date within the 12-month reporting period regardless of the start date. They will also attend a two-week global health boot camp where they will take a deep dive into the core concepts of global health and learn clinical skills important in austere environments. Our curriculum is designed to train residents in the ACGME’s six core competencies, which include patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and systems-based practice. Our residents will achieve these competencies through a variety of rotations on the inpatient general medicine floor, intensive care unit, ambulatory clinic and electives. This position will provide programmatic and budget oversight, as well as surveillance system expertise and data analysis. This position will also assess population health statuses, trends and disparities. Additionally, this position will be responsible for communicating data to a variety of audiences through a variety of formats, including reports, presentations, and other documents.
